They always say your home is the biggest investment you will ever make My view is that although your first home is definitely the biggest investment, your second home is generally a little trickier. Usually a second home is in a spot which you enjoy visiting on holiday, meaning you are not there to look after it. This is where it is crucial to get the right people to look after your home. Having been the proud owners of a brand new home in Central Florida, we know how devastating it is to return to find almost everything that could go wrong.......has gone wrong.
After a few miserable experiences, we decided to set up our own operation, which would give us far more control, even though we did live so very far away. Over the years, we have developed an online system which lets us follow the progress of all our accounts, bookings, maintenance, guest movements, cleaner reports, inspections, etc, etc. We set the system up from the point of view of owners who had to keep control of our investment from a distance. That is a little different from a local management company setting up a system which shows you what they think you need to know. When one of our guys go to your home, they pull out their mobile phone and access our mini jobs list which tells them everything they need to know about your home. It shows them any jobs outstanding, any guests due to arrive, any regular inspections to be done and any requests you, the owner has put in, even in the past minute. Any jobs carried out while they are there, are immediately reported online, and available for you to view. It's almost like being there yourselves. For the past 6 years we have been operating our system, developing it, and fine tuning it so that we have absolute control and a comlpete overview of all that is going on with our properties. You see, although we own a business in Central Florida, we are still based in the UK. We need to know exactly what is going on with our guys and if we know, you know. All you have to do is to log into your control panel, and all the information on your home is there, bang up to date. We are now taking that process one step further. We intend to licence our technology to bring these unique benefits to even more owners world wide. If you own a property anywhere in the world, simply ask your manager to contact us and we will set them up with their very own control panel from which they can input all the information you need to see. Our systems are so simple, even a kid could use them.
